MSU Bikes is dedicated to promoting bicycling as a healthy and environmentally sustainable transportation option for the MSU community.
MSU Bikes makes its home in the MSU Bikes Service Center, a full service bike shop on the campus of Michigan State University. We are a university operated department under MSU Surplus & Recycling which is a division of MSU’s Infrastructure Planning and Facilities department.

We are a bike-friendly bike shop!! Please bring your bike inside when you visit!!
For motor vehicle drop-offs/pick-ups up to 15 min. the Bessey Hall loading dock area (on the west-facing side of the bldg) can be used. For longer visits the closest parking meters are in the loop in front of the Administration Building and on the east side of Erickson Hall across the river.
MSU’s Bike-Friendly Features & Other Green Transportation Options:
Our brochure can be viewed here – now features MSU’s 1st ever Green Transportation Map of campus (JPEG) that shows all the roads with bike lanes, other bike-friendly related facilities as well as where you can charge an electric car, find the Capital Area Multimodal Gateway (train and bus station), and solar-powered car ports on campus.
